Five days were needed to shift out of my head into more of the flow. The odd bout of procrastination didn’t help either.
What didn’t escape me was the difference between the MAP writings and trying to communicate an idea – perfectly.
With autonomic writing I step to the side and let things flow. Something similar happens with speaking.
But put “pen to paper” to express my ideas for all to see and everything screeches to a slow, slogging crawl.
The mind seizes any opportunity to throw niggling obstacles in the way.
The writing will move further into flowing as I let go. The slogging is simply a signal to step back rather than a hurdle to overcome.
Notes to self:
There is no perfect way to say anything. I don’t need to make a point or be convincing.
But the ideas do need to be put out there for someone to consider them.
Putting energy in motion is far more important than having a destination.
