Think of a kaleidoscope and all the magic it holds. You change that so easily. You do not hold it in the same place all the time. You delight in seeing more, how the light changes as you roll it around.
I love the analogy of a kaleidoscope introduced in MAP – Day 18.
Light passes through multi-coloured particles and reflects off mirrors to create the image we see.
Light also passes through our unique self expressions and reflects off each other to create the world we see.
But nobody wants a kaleidoscope to stay the same, nor should we.
The image is an ever changing creation of Light, just as we are. We can explore facets of ourselves and change how our world appears.
Our beingness is expressed in different ways to create different experiences of who we are.
Change happens. Never stops.
Instead of spending our energy trying to hold the kaleidoscope perfectly still to remain unchanged, our efforts are better spent learning how to change as easily as the turn of a wrist to behold ourselves in ways never seen before.
