How often do you ask

“how are you doing?”

when you want to know how a person is being or feeling?

And when we want to know what occupation a child is thinking of pursuing we tend to ask

“what do you want to be …”

Then there is the roundabout

“what do you do for a living?”

when we most likely want to know how a person earns money.  And how did we tie living with money?

I wonder what would happen if we started asking each other

“how are you being life today?”
