Seems to me then you need to have faith or trust in yourself in order to be yourself first and risk aloneness in order not to be alone.
Let me ask you this. How alone do you feel being who you are not in order to be around others?
And not only how alone are you but who alone are you?

I suppose I’m a bit slow these days. I just realized we are talking about giving and receiving, and Christmas is only a week away.
