The Powers That Be

Are we too late to change the path we seem to be headed down?

And what path would that be?

Pollution, consumption, war, greed.

My you have a negative view of the world.  Is that all you see?

No.  There are a lot of good things.  People helping people, beautiful places around the world, people waiting to change.

So why didn’t you ask about that world first? 

Because the other world seemed more pressing, more dangerous to our survival.

Do you want to live in that world?

No.

Then don’t.

But the powers that be seem to have control over that.  Those with the greatest power continue down that path.  How are we to stop them?

You won’t now that you have given up your power.  That choice is only up to you.

All of you.  Each and every one of you.



You can never truly give up your power but you can make it appear so.

All you have to do is take it back.  And by that I mean just be your power.

It is at your disposal anytime, anywhere.

You are the powers that be.

Theirs is a false power – one of the mind you created as a whole to play the game.



You think you have no power to influence another.

Be yourself.

Be the person who cares.  Open the door for another to be that too.

They are waiting for you to go first.

Or are you waiting for them?



All of you go at once.  For that is truly how it is.

You can affect more than you know.

You are the one to hold yourself back.

Step into yourself a little more.  Be in your world of choosing.

Others are waiting for you.
