Passion Becomes You

I was thinking about our discussion yesterday.

Uh huh.

I’m not sure I’m passionate about anything.  I’m not passionate about being anything.

Why do you say that?

Because I don’t feel really intense about anything.  At least I don’t think I do.

You do.  About you.



What do you feel? 

A quietness, a knowing.  I can see the common threads of what I am attracted to.

As long as I am being certain things I am happy.

Like what?

Being curious and creative.  Exploring and expanding – which are more doings than beings I suppose.

They would be an expression of curious and creative.

But they are knowings more than passions.

Do they get intense sometimes?

Sure.  There’s an ebb and flow of degree.

And why must there be passion?  Especially if you are being who you are.

That is a very good question.  The thought comes to mind this is similar to the difference between lust and love.

Lust is all fiery, exciting, driving, intense.  Love can be those too but not constant.   Love doesn’t have to be.

Love is quiet, knowing, just is.

Why the need for passion then?

It’s sexy?  It’s what people want to know?

Because they get their energy from you?

Could very well be true.



Being yourself is very sexy by the way.  You are magnetic when you be you.

That’s all that sexual energy is.  Attraction.  Heightened awareness of the attraction and connection between two people.

When you are being you there is nothing more attractive to another.

They can’t help themselves because they see themselves in you.

Intensity becomes too intense after awhile.

The rush wears off and you need more to feel the same level.  Like an addiction.

Use passion as a tool of awareness but know it doesn’t stop there.  The passion turns into the being of you.

Passion becomes you.

You become passion in its more subtle form.  As powerful if not more.
