Change Of Thought

MAP

It seems we are everywhere but where we desire to be.

What do you mean?

Well, if I want to think about what’s next then I think about now.  If I want to think about now then I think about before or ahead.

And if I have nothing to think about then I replay something over and over.

My thoughts, my energy, my attention seems to be not where I desire.

Very good.  You are paying attention.

That is a good sign you are awakening to the more that is available to you.

To see your patterns is to break free from them, to not be controlled by them.

Once you notice your thoughts you can decide if you want to continue down that road or change their direction.

Why are my thoughts like this, all over the place?

Because you let them.  That was part of the game plan.

How else could you keep yourself from knowing what you already know if you didn’t divert your attention at all times.

Now you are beginning to see what a conscious thinker is.

You have a ways to go to clear out the clutter but you are on the right path.

Do not beat yourself up.  You have much time before you – or behind you – to unwind.

You are practiced at diversion, you have mind memory if you will.

Like muscle memory for athletes?

Yes.  Very good.

Your mind is practiced at these patterns and you are breaking them up.

It will feel overwhelming at times at the amount of diversion you do because you are aware of it.

Keep at it.  Keep at paying attention to the patterns and they cannot hide from you.

Even being angry, frustrated or exasperated at yourself is a diversion too.

Do not be fooled and tricked by such subtle measures.  There will be more of those too.

The more attention you pay to your thoughts the more sophisticated their tactics will become.

They have had to have been on guard for so long they will not give up easily.

Your thoughts have done what you asked them to do.  Now you are asking them to do something else.

Would you believe you if you made this request of you?

If I knew I was serious I would believe me.

Then be serious when you make this request of yourself – to change your thought patterns.

For that is what you are doing.  Creating new, conscious thought patterns.

And to do that will take practice – conscious action of thought.

Enjoy this time and take note.  For you will use this re-patterning in other areas of your life and your being and your body too.

You are changing who you are and what you do.  You are letting go of who you were and what you did.

They serve you no longer in where you wish to go.

And this is why you are experiencing this change of thought.

Out with the old and in with the new.

You are ushering in a new you, a new way of being, a new way of expressing you.

In that you will find exciting times ahead – for all of you.
