What do you want to talk about today? What shall be the topic of our conversation?
I was going to say the ever popular stand-by of “I don’t know” but then I had a question or two pop into my head.
And they were?
The gist of the questions were “why do we make life complicated, way more difficult than it needs to be, and take simple decisions and turn them into a big deal, or question what we decided?”
Because you do.
That helps.
It should.
Because you DO.
Notice I said the word DO and not BE.
If you spent more time feeling and being you wouldn’t get into such pickles.
When you aren’t clear on what you want, which stems from what you feel and how you be, then you end up doing in circles and wrong directions.
The underlying feelings won’t go away so after you do something you have to match that up with what you were originally feeling.
What you were doing was not an expression of what you were feeling.
It happens every time.
Get clear first. Then act.
But what if I don’t know what I want?
Then I will say yes you do. I will also say you are hiding from yourself.
You can go ahead and do whatever. But don’t be mad or frustrated with yourself with the aftermath of questioning, undoing and so on that you experience.
You are simply trying to know yourself through what it is you don’t want. We have written here before that is the long way round to the same spot.
Take the path you choose and celebrate the experience you have either way.
You know the game you are up to.
