Why is it people say “you complete me?  Doesn’t that support the idea that we are separate?

People use the phrase incorrectly.  They should really be saying “you expand me”.

What is happening with such a statement is an expression of awareness, of being able to feel more of yourself than you had before.

That part of you was always there.

Just as when you have children and experience a whole new range of feelings that you didn’t with your spouse.



People say there are different kinds of love.  Is that true?

There is only one love.

But that one love can be expressed in many different ways.

If you have a diamond and look at it from different sides, the light that shines through changes from side to side – that which you call a facet.

Do you have one diamond or many?



We have talked about relationships before.  They are a tool you can use to explore who you are, explore life.

You and life are one in the same.

Use your relationships to experience and create rather than feeling used by your relationships as you react.



Love is whole but can be experienced as its parts.  That one part does not make the whole any more or less because it cannot be separated out from the rest.

Try to remove a single facet from your diamond – it cannot be done.



What if I try to replicate love like we do diamonds?

You still have an imitation.

You can fool yourself into thinking you have real love but the properties are not the same.

You know this to be true because you are aware of what you call unconditional love.  This is what you seek.

If you seek unconditional love then you are aware without knowing it that what you are calling love now is the fake, close but not perfect imitation.

Love has no conditions.

So to feel that you have conditions attached to what you call love now is to know this thing you call love is not real.



So what do we do with all this fake love going around?

Stop telling yourself it is love.  Call it by its real name.  Stop accepting it as true.

You know what you want so why do you choose less than what is yours to begin with?

There is never not love.  Love always exists.  Love cannot not exist.



But you can hide from it.

That is part of this Hide-N-Seek game you play.  You hide yourself from what is and what always will be.

There is nothing to complete.  You are whole through and through.

You are the part of the whole, indivisible, and divisible from none.

What you are here to do is explore and expand your awareness and participation in this wholeness of which you are a part.

Complete in all ways as one.
