Outside Looking In

MAP

This message or idea of looking forward instead of backwards seems to be important.

I’ve spent the last couple of days being very aware of the differences, shall we say ingraining the concept through experience.

Awareness is good.  Very good.

It is the first step to real change.

You can see more than you did before because of a new perspective.  You can use that as a point of shift.

But it feels as if I keep falling back.

By choice?

No – by default.  If find myself there looking backwards.  Not choosing to look backwards.

That is good on two fronts.

You aren’t choosing to focus backwards.  That is a good step.

And you are aware of when you are focusing backwards.

That is much better than focusing backwards and not knowing why or even being aware at all of what you are doing.

You are catching yourself and calling yourself on it.

That is a good sign.

Will I ever get out?

Out of what?

Of looking backwards.

That is your choice.

There will be times when you want to look backwards, but it won’t have the same energy or trappings.

You will be outside looking in, moving forward looking back.

That is much different than standing still or spinning your wheels.

Look for the energy signature of the moment you are in.  Look to how you feel.  Of anything.

That is how you can tell if you are looking forward or back, or outside in.

Use your experience to imprint the message but do not get caught up in it either for it will change too.

There will come a time when facing forward no longer serves you so keep that in mind.

But for now use this as a time to shake yourself up and loosen the hold your unawareness can have on you.

It doesn’t have to.

Then look for other opportunities to shake up and open up, to look from the outside in.

You are making progress.  Celebrate that and use the positive feedback to make you do more, for you to be more.

Keep going.

Use your awareness of what-is-not to move forward instead of seeing it as backwards or the same.

That is a layer upon layer you didn’t see but now you do.

There is always more to progress to.

You are evolving and as such you will always do what is in front of you rather than behind you.

That is your nature – to move forward, no matter how much you like to move back.

Flow with it instead of fight.

You will win out all the time over you.
