So I should move anywhere – whether or not it’s the wrong direction, I’ll lose time, waste effort, get no results, or worse yet, end up where I’ve started.
Yes.
Shouldn’t I be worried about not getting anywhere, not reaching my dreams, succeeding?
No.
Then what’s the point?
What keeps me from flailing around, doing nothing, getting nowhere? Shouldn’t I just quit now and do nothing?
Now you’re getting somewhere.
Do nothing will get you places, take you a long way.
What?
Your biggest challenge in life is to stop doing and be yourself.
Your false assumption is that being is not doing.
That is so very far from the truth.
Only when you move into a place of being do you stop the insanity of doing, doing, doing.
When you move into the place of being you become very clear on what you should be doing – and what you shouldn’t.
In fact, you become very clear on what you will do and what you won’t.
You know ahead of time instead of after.
Is that not more efficient and a better use of time?
I suppose so. Can’t really argue with that logic.
I thought so.
The doing you engage in now is mindless. You do, do, do in hopes that you will find out what it is you want to be doing, what it is you like.
More often than not this is a failed experiment in your eyes because you never get where you want. There are too many things to try or you get stuck doing things over and over and can’t seem to stop.
Doing nothing would be your fastest and easiest way out of the cycle you have created for yourself.
Be who you truly are. Just be you.
No pretenses, no agendas, no worries about what others will think. That is of no concern to you. That is there business.
Be you and you will have no limits to what you can do. There will be no limits on how much time you have.
And most of all, you will (what you call) succeed beyond your wildest dreams.
The clarity you seek will no longer be sought.
You will move beyond the games others still wish to play.
It is your decision to join them. Or not.
Be done with doing and get on with being.
Begin being all over again – your quickest route to renewal.
