Not Enough Words

MAP

What words of wisdom do you have today?

None.  The words are all yours.

And quite often the words are inadequate.

In what way?

Either they fail to get an idea across for another to understand or they are limiting in what can be expressed.  Sometimes there really are no words.

And that is a good thing.

You have become so reliant on your languages – both written and spoken – that you fail to remember there are other and better ways to communicate.

In other areas of your lives frustration would cause you to find a new way, a better path.

“Necessity is the mother of invention” – is that not one of your sayings?

Instead of finding a new way to communicate, you give up.

It becomes a lost cause because you forget what caused you to want to communicate in the first place.

You see many languages as a reason for separation.  You have a myth that your many languages is a form of punishment.

I tell you this is not so.

What you have before you are the perfect conditions for finding, or rather dis covering the tools of communication you have forgotten.

You can talk with each other on so many levels that say so much more than your words will ever convey.

Yet you dismiss them when you use them.

Or don’t even try.

You use your words to separate rather than unify.  You use your words to remind you how different you  are than how much you are the same.

When you lose your words you open yourself up to forms of thought that are instantly present between you.

These are also called feelings, which are beyond words.

If you have ever tried to speak another language you know at the beginning you translate in your head from the new to the old.

This is similar to what you do with that which has no words, is larger than the container of words.

You try and take the enormity, depth and richness of a feeling and try to translate it into words.

Then you are frustrated when those words come nowhere close to conveying what it is you still feel.

And frustrated even more when you cannot pass along to another what you feel.

Have you ever considered simply passing along the feeling rather than trying the futile exercise of finding words?

Have you ever considered passing along the visions so rich in detail you see in your head rather than trying to translate them into some middle-man medium?

Work with each other at new levels.  Your skills are there for the using.  Hone them and expand them as you have done with your words.

You are ready for this next step as you were ready at the time for words.

The next natural evolution is waiting for you to take.
