Centre Stage

MAP

Inspire yourself.

You look around at what other people are doing and say I can do that but don’t.

Or you say I could never do that for this reason or that.  Too dangerous, no money, can’t leave family – and the list goes on.

Change your thinking about yourself.  See what is extraordinary about you.

You don’t have to go anywhere.  You don’t need to spend any money.  You don’t need to do anything.

For what you see special in other people, see special in you.

Others do.

See it in yourself too.

Stop putting yourself down, making yourself small and denying the true you.

What makes you special is not what you do – it’s who you are.

Be you.  Celebrate you.

Give yourself an award.  Put yourself on stage for all to see.  And then say hey, this is me.  Look at me.

Don’t be shy.  No one else has to see you.  You are the only one in the audience too.  See yourself receive the award you give to yourself.

Blow your own horn.  Shout out loud.

Put the attention on yourself for the spotlight is waiting inside of you to shine.

You are uncomfortable with this though, aren’t you.

Special is for other people, not you.  Better to get lost in the crowd than be singled out.

All of this is about accepting who you are – the greatness you hold inside.

Let it out.

Find the specialness of you and get to know it.  Embrace it.  Accept it.

You are special whether you want to admit it or not.

Others see it in you as you see it in them.  So instead of hiding from yourselves what others plainly see – show yourself openly.

Get to know the special you.  Have coffee or tea with yourself.

Tell yourself what you appreciate about you as you would do for someone else.

Break the story you have told yourself for so long.  It does you no good any longer.

You know it too.

You have worked at keeping the story alive – for it no longer comes naturally to you.

The game is wrapping up.

You’re centre stage.

Accept your award.
