Step out. Step away. Step above.
Look at your sports teams to see how they have evolved.
At first you had a bunch of players on the field directing the play. Then you had a coach on the sidelines. And now you have coaches up above looking down.
Each vantage point shows you something different.
The further you go from the field the bigger the context you see, the larger your frame of reference, the bigger the picture you include.
What you see on the field is not what you see from afar.
Do this with your life every so often until it becomes a part of who you are – or so you think.
Step away and see the larger picture.
And step away from above.
And then sideways.
Do not get caught up in the details. From where you are they loom so large in front of you.
From above they seem hardly visible at all.
Gain perspective. Reposition where you are. See anew.
All of these open the door for changing everything instantly.
What you didn’t see before was always there.
Now see it and see you. You change everything.
Shift, move – don’t stay still.
Keep seeing, keep exploring, keep seeing more and more.
That will change everything from where you are. Both here and there and everywhere at the same time.
See from all directions and go from there.
