Moving Forward Backwards

MAP

You are very good at knowing your past.

You study it faithfully and endlessly by digging around and around to see how far you can go.

But your future is much different.  You put very little effort into creating what you desire – projecting out into the future as far as you project into the past.

You walk backwards into your future.

You say you do not know what it is you desire to create.  You fear what you call the unknown.

How can it be unknown.  You create it.

You pull out what you desire from all possibility.  It’s all there.

Your focus on your past keeps you there.  What point is there to moving forward into your future.

The past is safe.  The future is, well, what you make it to be.

You have equated not knowing with fear and harm, not safe.

Do you not think it is safer to change your future, to make different decisions?

You are not safe now – you only know what is not safe.  That does not make it any safer or make it less fearful.

You are not your past – you are your future.

Write a new story for you to look forward to – maybe call it herstory just for laughs.

You need an entirely different name for where you are going, what you create now ahead of you.

How about truth?

Or illustory or unveiling.

Those are good too.

Fill your life with laughter, a positive outlook, brightness.

Fill what you call the unknown with light – your light.  Shine upon your creations so ever brightly.

Do not allow yourself to say “I don’t know” any longer.  Those few little words stop the wheels in motion faster than you think.

You do know.

At least what direction you want to head.  And then you know more after that.

How can you know the unknown if you never go there?

You keep yourself playing the game and then say you want to stop playing.

See what endless circles you have yourself moving in?

Step off.

As simple as that.

Make a decision.  See the unknown.  Shine your light.  Dream.

Pull yourself into the future instead of holding yourself to the past.

This is the moment everything changes, where your future is determined.

Fly.

Don’t try.

Fly.
