Start Feeling

MAP

I want to go back to this idea of how to demonstrate or communicate to another an inward experience when they can only see an outward experience.

First, you both have to believe you are not separate from one another.  That means expanded consciousness on both your parts.

Second, you must both believe that your bodies are not physical boundaries or barriers, you are energetic beings together in the same space.

Third, you must believe it is possible, and that inward and outward experiences are one in the same – inward is outward and outward is inward.

Go on.

What do you want to know?

How do you get someone to feel a certain way?

You don’t.

It is their feeling to get.  Their experience to have.

If they are not ready for whatever reason, then they are not ready.

It is not enough to say you want to expand – you have to believe you want to expand and experience.

You have an inner experience whether you are aware of it or not.  Your inner experience may not match what you believe you desire.

Become aware of what you are experiencing inside – and feel it.

Do not have an intellectual experience of what you are feeling.  I tell you this is not feeling.

You are only dipping your toe into the pool of awareness if you are intellectualizing everything.

You must learn to feel in order to feel.

And if you are afraid to feel, using your intellect as a safeguard to protect you, then you will continue to want the experience of awareness rather than have the experience of awareness.

You will continue to perpetuate fear as the basis of your actions.

Do you want to live the rest of your life in fear?

So if we allow ourselves to feel rather than think we can …

Make progress, change, create, morph, transform.  What other words would you like me to use?

Stop thinking and start feeling.

Do you honestly think there is a big dark boogieman waiting inside to scare you?

Well, maybe.

Who knows what lurks behind those closed doors of feelings we’ve done such a good job of hiding?

And that is the key.  You have only hidden from yourself.

Your feelings are still there.  You are still there.

Your life will become richer as the number of feelings you experience grows.

The problem is you believe your emotions are in control of you so you need to control them.

That is partially true.

You are seeing this statement of control from a limited perspective.

You are your feelings and your feelings are you.

Shut down your feelings and you shut down you.  Shut down you and what do you have left – a life you do not like very much and want to change.

In order to change you must feel feelings.  In order to feel feelings you must be you.  In order to be you, you must open up your awareness to all aspects of you and live the true you.

Fear then is our greatest enemy.

And your greatest ally.

Fear is only an enemy when you perceive it to have powers it doesn’t have.

Let yourself experience fear, as you would let a child experience falling down.

Falling down is part of standing up.  Fear is part of joy.

I’ve experienced joy at the same time as anger – I was joyful to feel anger and the nuances of anger.

And so too you can do this with any emotion.  Don’t intellectualize your emotion – that puts distance between you and you.

Bring awareness, observation, to your emotions  – it changes everything.

Awareness invites in a higher perspective from which to see.

Intellect closes down and limits you to find what you know, which isn’t much in comparison to what is available to you to know.

Do not worry about trying to get someone to experience what you do.  That will come naturally.

You will experience together sooner than you know.

Focus on bringing down your guards you have held for so long.

Focus on feeling, feeling what it is like to be you, feeling all the different ways there are to feel.

And focus on awareness of what it is you are feeling and all that is around you.

Expand your awareness to encompass more and more.
