Shine First

Shine your light as bright as can be.  Let you shine.

Let yourself come through and bask in the warmth and glow of your own light.

Don’t concern yourself with who sees or not.  It doesn’t matter. 

I see.  You see.   And therefore we all see.

Just shine – that is all you have to do and the rest will take care of yourself.

You can be in a room all alone or on top of the highest mountain.  You become a beacon either way.

You cannot not be.  You won’t be able to help yourself.

The important part is to start shining.

Right now.

And then soon you will shine more, and more after that.  You will begin to shine light on the path before you.

You cannot see what is ahead when you keep yourself in the dark.  That is what you find so scary and fearful.

Where will this end up?  How will you know?  What bumps and potholes might there be along the way to trip you up?

No wonder you feel scared and alone trying to make this journey.

But when you shine your light, when you let the real you through – the darkness you fear disappears.

You can see what is ahead next for you.  The bumps and holes will be there but with shining your light you will be prepared.

A little bit of light will lead to more, and more again.  A little bit of light will bring you peace so you can relax into the moment and catch your breath.

Then you will see which way you desire to go, what next step you can take.

And when you take that next step you will see the next step – you will feel the next step.

And so you find the light within you burns brighter and shines further all around you.  The road before you is behind you and beside you.

You are lighting the way for all others who see you and they light the path for you too.

Shine together, for with each other you are unstoppable.

Others are waiting for you as much as you are waiting for them.

Go first.  Shine first.  Show them how it is done.

Just by being you.

Shine a little light and the world will shine brightly on you.
