Silent Struggle

MAP

Silence.

It is one of the most underused resources you have at your disposal for creating the life of your dreams – and everything else.

What makes you so afraid of the dark?  Do you perceive silence to be darkness?  Do you perceive a void as something to always be filled?

You are not looking deep enough to see what is really there.

Silence is golden for a reason.  It is filled with riches beyond your wildest imagination.

Listen closely to the silence.  Give yourself the gift of that space.

That is where I reside – in the silent space of all that is.

And you too.

That is your doorway to worlds beyond.  Your curiosity will be pushed into overdrive with all that becomes available.

You have come to realize long ago that the doing is merely a way to block out that which you do not want to hear.

Being busier will not bring you closer to what it is you desire.  In fact, the most common result is to push you further away.

“But I am doing something,” you say “so there must be movement towards the end.”

Picture yourself as one of those cartoons where the legs keep spinning but the body goes nowhere.

There is all sorts of movement but oh so little traction.

This is mostly what you do.  You expend your energy in doing, doing, doing so you have little energy left to do what actually needs to be done.

You must work smarter and wiser to do all that you wish to be done.

Go back to being you.  Go back to being still.  Go back to being silent.

I know this scares you more than most anything else because you perceive yourself to be alone in the dark when you are still and silent.

You go insane trying to fill what you perceive to not be there.

If you would only stop to see.  If you would only take the first step to know your mind is what is fooling you.

There is no darkness or void.  It is very filled, very much indeed.

The unknown is only unknown to you.  There is much in there that you already know but have forgotten.

Being busy does not get you anywhere faster. More often than not you end up having to redo what needs to be undone.

And then you think life is difficult and a struggle.

My what stories you have told yourself.

Just be still and listen – to your heart beat if you must.

Do not strain to hear – that will not help.  Just relax and let yourself be open.

Engage your body and mind in something you know is mindless if that helps.  Get your physicality and attachments out of the way.

Keep them occupied so you can be still and listen for what it is you want to hear.
