Lifeless Passion

What do you want to talk about today?

How about continuing on with passion?

What do you want to know that you already don’t?

That’s a trick question because you’ll say I already know it.

Very good.  What do you want me to help you remember?

Is that better?

It’s all in the question.  Ask better questions, get better answers.  

Back to passion.  What if we go through life never living out our passion, just working hard, putting food on the table and being kind to others?

Who says that doesn’t involve passion?

For some that may be the very experience they wish to have.  For some that may be the best experience of themselves.

But if it’s not?

Then you have to make a choice.  Life will always seem a little dull, a little less than it can be if you are blocking out or dimming down who you are.

If you spend your life longing for something else then you live a life in pain.

Eventually you desensitize yourself or block it out completely, telling yourself a lie so you don’t have to feel anymore.

You may find you tell yourself you can have something else instead of what you really desire in order to ease the discomfort.

Your system of retirement is a carrot-and-stick you will rarely, if ever, reach.  You tell yourself you can do all that you want after you finish working, paying your dues and putting in time.

I tell you this is not what life is about nor was it ever intended to be this way.  That is part of the game you created.

Being yourself is not a reward you receive for working hard at something you do not enjoy.  That is going in the opposite direction.

Hold out your dreams and passion for you to see and more importantly, for you to feel.  Hold that feeling inside of you.

You have heard many times before that you will be a magnet when you do this.  This is true.

Do not put a time frame on how soon you have to see results.  All will come to you as you move towards all.

Know with great knowingness what it is you truly desire to be, what you have waited so long to come true.

Use this as your compass as you move forward.

Measure your decisions and actions against this – do you move more fully and into who you are?  If the answer is not a clear yes then something is not in line.

And many times it will appear as if you are wrong.  But how can you be wrong if you know more clearly what you do want than you did before what you consider wrong?

Clarity can come in an instant and it can come gradually, and every pace in between.

There is no single way.  And there is no single path.

This too is part of the game you created because of how brilliant you are.



And know too there is no end to your passion.  That is like saying there is an end to God.

The more you move into your passion the more you will discover there is more to you left to be revealed.

Your passion doesn’t stop.

If you say you are living your passion then I challenge you to look more, to expand yourself more.

There is much more of you to explore and reveal and bring forth.

And you may very well find this takes you in a different direction from where you are now.



Start first with finding your passion by finding you.

And you will find you behind the fears and walls and diversions you have placed in front to hide you from you.

Find the real, vulnerable, naked you and that is where your passion will be found.
