What do you want to talk about today?
I wasn’t expecting this. Give me a minute. What’s jumping into my mind are “stars, space and planets”.
They exist.
Very funny.
Well, what do you want to know?
They were calling me. How about what’s out there. Is there life on other planets?
Not always planets.
It depends on what you want to call life. Again you want to make all life, or at least intelligent forms of life, to be in your image. Like you did with me. And now that your idea about me is changing you are having a hard time and struggling with changing your idea about my appearance.
You do not look like me but that does not mean we are not the same, that we are different.
That is one big hurdle you need to get over to move on.
You have had this built-in idea that sameness means safety. If we are alike then you naturally must be okay – because you project onto the other what you know to be good – you. Something that is different is unknown – and automatically your wariness is raised.
Know this is not so. Because something looks like you or is familiar does not mean it is good. Look to the “natural world” for all those cases of camouflage and trickery to lure in prey by looking familiar. And likewise, looking different does not mean something is bad, scary or unsafe.
Your mechanisms are very crude for where you believe yourself to be and where you want to go. It’s like using a piece of charcoal to write when you can use a pen. Which do you choose?
So what does that have to do with space, stars and planets?
You tell me.
Stop looking for life that looks like us. Other forms – or dimensions for that matter – could be here right now before us.
Yes. Very good. Open your eyes to see differently.
And to do that you have to open your mind first. We’ve already covered that but I’ll say it again – you see with your mind. Your mind determines what you see – not your eyes.
You can see through touch. You are aware of those experiments that are “proving” this fact.
That alone took someone to see beyond what was present before them and see with their mind. To dream a different dream.
But back to your space creatures as you like to call them.
Some look like you – generally – and many more do not. Do not be afraid. This will force you to overcome your fear of being different and a whole world of sameness will appear before you.
We are all made of the same stuff. Me. I am the space in between. I am what courses through your blood. Those samenesses will never change. Space is very small when you think of it that way.
Practice now by seeing sameness all around you. And then celebrate and marvel at all the many different ways you can appear.
When you really start to see this – how you are all the same – then you will start to see more forms of life in front of you.
You can look to the stars if you like or you can look in front of you.
[I thought I should see if I could find a reference for the comment about seeing with touch. I remember seeing a clip about a blind man making his way though a maze using a device, most likely the BrainPort.]

“We are all made of the same stuff. Me. I am the space in between.”
String theory and now, (and in my mind more elegantly,) M-theory is proving this very idea. I find that as a species we tend to seek mystery off in the darkness somewhere, when perhaps the greatest mysteries are right here in front of us…in the spaces between us, even in how we are comprised and aligned as molecular sculptures. Just a thought.
Great post! Thanks for sharing it.

“molecular sculptures”
Is that art imitating life,
life imitating art or
life being art being life?
I see there are many more ways to use these molecular sculptures to change our context of who we are on a wide basis.
