Be Holding You

MAP

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.  That means you.  You be holding your own perceptions of the world.

Don’t let anyone or anything take that away from you.

You hold beauty in your hands, close to your heart.  Hold it gently for you do not want to squeeze the life out of that which you hold.

You do not have to hold onto anything.  Let go.  It will be there for you.  Just let it be.  Let yourself be.

The longer you hold on the harder it is to let go.

Imagine your fingers being cramped into a permanent position (even though they are not).  Imagine the stiffness of your fingers and muscles when you hold them in one position for a very long time.  Or when you grip onto something very tight.

At the moment you move or let go you are cramped, unable to move.  You experience pain for holding that position for so long.

But when you begin to move a little, stretch out again, you begin to regain your movement.  You are once again able to expand.

The pain subsides and you breathe a sigh of relief you are no longer stuck in that position.

So too is this the way of your heart and your mind.  When you hold on you become cramped.  Only after you let go and begin to stretch a little do you feel free again.

Be careful what you be holding onto.  How tight is your grip?

Do you be holding to another?  Notice the effect on you and another.  Are either of you really free?

Be holding beauty and anything else from your place of freedom inside, from within.  Watch the beauty morph before you as you provide the space to grow and expand for yourself and another.

That is how to be holding anything.  With the softest touch as if you had a newborn in your hands.

For that is what you hold in any moment – anew born of this moment going forward.  Fragile in some ways but fully complete ready to grow forward into this world.

Be hold you.  For you are that newborn too.
