Find yourself now. Right here. Right now.
Where do you want to go?
That is the choice point you face. Right. Left. Forward. Backward. Sideways. Nowhere.
Where do you want to go?
In every moment you can change your mind. That is why it matters not which direction you choose, which step you take. For you can always change.
What matters is you move and do not try to stop the change. Standing still forever only builds all that momentum inside of you that becomes overwhelming.
Get clear on where you want to go and you will do less hopping around. But do not look at hopping as a bad thing. Each hop tells you more about yourself than you care to admit.
Consider each hop a hop of joy for you know more now than you did before.
What about being still you ask. There is time for that too.
Between each hop, between each step you are still. Use that silent moment to check in with yourself and see where you are.
Barging ahead directionless is just as maddening as remaining still.
You will find your rhythm, the pace of movement and stillness combined into one fluid, seamless movement.
You will bask in the energy. You will feel the groove. You will feel that pace that is right for you.
This does not mean this is the pace for somebody else. Do not compare yourself to another nor force another to match yours.
When you journey with another, find the pace that works for them and decide if that pace works for you.
If it doesn’t you will not be able to stay in sync very long. Your encounter may be brief or come to an end. If you do sync you may travel far and wide.
You do not have to stay at this pace or any pace. You can go fast or slow, any way you wish to go.
Just be aware of what you choose and how that may impact the roll of another.
Many times your life may intersect the path of another multiple times – you come and go, weave in and out. You do not need to stay side by side.
Celebrate these differences – your time apart and your time together.
That is what the journey is all about.
