Be free.
In your heart.
There is nothing outside of you that can make you feel this way. It is a false illusion if you believe that something outside yourself, someone or something outside of you can make you free.
You are never not free.
You only think this to be true. You are always and forever free.
You are the one that binds your hands and your mind into slavery. What are you a slave to? Money, sex, another person, chocolate, food, drugs?
Sure – there are ways these things change your body so it becomes much more difficult to ignore them or leave them behind. There is no doubt about that. But you are still a slave to them.
Is money any less of an addiction than cigarettes or drugs? Do you think about money all the time at the expense of seeing what is right in front of you?
Money clouds your mind, your decisions, your perceptions of life as much as nicotine clouds the mind of a smoker.
They all come down to “where is my next <you fill in the blank> coming from?”
Let me tell you this. You are free. Right here. Right now.
In your heart is where you can begin again. Get in touch with that. Then you can hold onto that.
Freedom is not something that comes and goes.
Like the sun doesn’t come and go. Clouds do.
Yes. Freedom is always there, is always a light in your heart and your being. Clouds get in the way, in between, and you believe them to be permanent.
What are your clouds? What do you use to block your freedom? What do you use to stop feeling free?
The time is now to be brutally honest with yourself – not to beat yourself up but to set yourself free – to move fully into freedom once again. You can always be above the clouds.
Be honest with yourself. Be so honest you cannot ignore the truth anymore. There is no excuse good enough or large enough to hide behind any longer.
Nothing makes you free.
Free is what you are. You don’t do freedom. You don’t have freedom. You are freedom.
Exactly. You give your power away when you believe someone or something else can make you feel a certain way.
You are free. You gave your power away to mask that feeling and to play the game of getting it back.
All you are really doing is pulling a veil across in front of you to change the way things look.
Object permanence is learned very young. There comes a time in early life when you are no longer amused by the game Peek-A-Boo – because you know they have not disappeared.
You are still playing Peek-A-Boo with yourself. You are still very young for being amused by this.
You hide who you are and then you go find it. You play well by yourself.
When you are tired of this game you will stop, you will say Aha! – I see you there.
You will pull the veil away from your face and know freedom was there all along – falling out from behind the veil all over the place. For there is no veil large enough to completely hide the freedom of all who you are.
Play if you like. Just be aware you are playing. Be brutally honest you are the one controlling and continuing the game.
Change the rules. Hide something else for awhile. Or hide nothing at all. Play an entirely new game as you do when you outgrow Peek-A-Boo and then Hide-N-Seek.
Do you see the pattern now?
Your life has been about hiding that which is, so you can experience seeking it out.
Now is the time to change the game. Your natural curiosity compels you to find things so you created the game.
You are grown now. Do not continue to hide what is already here so you can have something to find, so you can have the thrill of the seek.
There is so much more for you to find and seek that you do not know about. Create a new game out of that – turn your attention to the unknown and you will find more than you can ever imagine.
You cannot hide ever in your lifetime as much as what awaits you to discover.
