How does it feel to be looking at your crap, your fears and digging around in there?
Silly – what they represent are for the most part opposite to what I think.
But they still hold power over you. That is why looking at them is so valuable. When you purposefully look at them they see the light of day and do not hold the same power as they do in the dark.
True. I feel like I’m in observer mode and don’t have a judgement about them – just writing the stuff down and observing, seeing patterns emerge.
There is no judgement in observing. You are merely seeing what is. The judgement comes in when you assign meaning to what is. And you can’t help yourself [to] not do that.
You will assign meaning because that is life, that is how you see the world.
What you need to recognize is you can change how you see the world, change how you view what is. There are an infinite number of possibilities – but you only need to find the one that works for you.
You decide how to view your world and when to change it. Only you.
Another cannot change your view – it will not stick. You may be able to see through their eyes but they cannot tell you how to think.
You see your world and they see theirs – and you both look at the same what is.
Play with this and see how it works for you. Purposefully take on another worldview – totally opposite of yours if you like. You don’t have to keep it. But you do get to experience another way of the world.
