Caught In The Undertow

Go and be still.

Listen – to the stillness.

But don’t expect some grand revelation or voice to command “Thou shalt do …”.  You are waiting for something that will not happen.

I do not do that.  That is an old thought that worked at the time for what they were trying to achieve.  But that is not how I work. 

For you to wait for me to tell you what to do continues to put your power to create outside yourself.  Only when you bring it inside, and own it – really own your power to create – will you be able to turn your life around to see from a different perspective.

But then you want proof I am here for you, to be at your beck and call, and I am not that either.  I am not a genie that grants you every wish.

Aha! you say – I told you so.

The point is you do not know what you really wish for – when you are clear on that then you will see magic happen in your life.

To follow another is to react – to say to the universe and all in it – including me – “I do not know what I really want.  I’ll go along for the ride and see where I end up.  Then I can blame someone else if I don’t like what I see.”

You must decide you have the power – and ability – to create.

And with that comes the responsibility to go deep – to uncover your true desires – not just what you think they are.  Playing at the surface does not allow you to see underneath.

Have you ever been to the ocean to see the waters lap back and forth?  Harmless enough you think and off you go.

And then you discover the undertow which you could not see from the beach.  You could not see what was underneath really driving the currents and motion of the sea.

Only when you look underneath can you begin to see if what is there matches what you see on the surface.  When they are in sync then magic begins to happen.

Do not fool yourself into thinking you desire everything – for you don’t.  If it showed up on your doorstep you would scream in horror and disbelief.  Yes – you would not believe what will show up by a thought here and there.  That is why you must be care full in what you think so you truly think what you want.

Go now and listen to what you want – and what may be lurking underneath.
