Be Still And Move

In many ways that is the root source of your problems.  You think too much – spend too much time in your head talking instead of listening.

Slow down.  Shut down.

Open the space to hear yourself think.  You do not have to meditate -  that is too much pressure for many of you – just shut up and shut down for awhile.  Start with a moment and let it grow from there.

Constant thinking is an avoidance technique – you don’t really want to hear what you say – or what I say for that matter.  Take a deep breath and relax – don’t forget to breath out.  Not quick but slowly.

Slow down.  Calm your mind and you will calm your body.  If you feel exhausted you will rejuvenate yourself by simply calming your thought mind and move into your own space.

Running a mile a minute with your thoughts takes your body with it – it takes a toll.  Your mind takes a toll on your body – pay up you say.  Pay up and keep up.

Give your body a voice – let it speak to you clearly now.  Let it tell you what you want this time.  It has many great pearls of wisdom to share.

Go now and be still in your mind while your body moves.  Pay attention to what comes back.  Instruct your mind to listen this time.

Is that not what great teachers do – is to listen to the needs of the children?  How often to teachers learn something new just from listening?
